What is different about cleaning in Jumeirah
Independent villas with gardens. Jumeirah villas are usually standalone homes with a garden, a majlis or large living room, and a maid’s room. The fixed villa price counts bedrooms; the majlis, maid’s room, bathrooms and kitchen do not change it.
Sand and salt from the beach. Homes near the beach collect fine sand on floors, sliding-door tracks and window sills, and salt film on glass. Inside windows, sills and tracks are part of every deep clean; terraces and outdoor areas are an extra.
La Mer and Port de La Mer apartments. Low-rise apartment buildings by the sea get the standard apartment price list, from AED 999 for a studio. Balconies and terraces facing the sea are often booked as an extra.
Access. For villas we come straight to the door; apartment buildings register visitors at reception. We send the names of the two cleaners before the visit.
What a deep clean in Jumeirah includes
Kitchen– Hob, extractor hood and filters degreased- Sink, taps, tiles and splashback- Outside of cabinets, fridge and oven
Bathrooms– Limescale removed from glass, taps, shower and tiles- Toilet, sink and bath cleaned and sanitised- Mirrors, grout and fittings
Rooms– Dust removed top to bottom, including skirting, doors, frames and switches- Inside windows, sliding doors, sills and tracks, up to step-ladder height- Floors vacuumed and mopped
