How We Work

Clean Area is a licensed cleaning company in Dubai (CLEAN AREA FOR BUILDING CLEANING SERVICES, DET licence 1228528). Every job is done by a crew of two cleaners trained to the standards of the British Institute of Cleaning Science, with professional Kärcher equipment, EU Ecolabel agents, a photo and video protocol of every room, and a 24-hour quality guarantee. Here is what that means in practice.

1. Booking

• You book on WhatsApp or through the online calculator on this site, choosing the service, property size, date and extras.
• We confirm the booking in writing with the price, the arrival window and the planned duration.
• Payment is online in advance by bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not accept cash. You receive a tax invoice.
• You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. Later cancellations are not refunded. Full terms: Terms of Service.

2. The crew

• Every visit is done by a crew of two. Hourly prices are for the crew, not per person.
• Cleaners complete training to the standards of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and follow a written checklist for each type of cleaning.
• The crew brings everything: Kärcher vacuum, extraction and steam machines, microfibre, and cleaning agents with the EU Ecolabel. If you need a particular product used or avoided, for example because of allergies, tell us when booking.

3. The protocol

• Before starting, the crew photographs and films every room. The same is done after the work.
• The protocol is used only for quality control and claims. We keep it for 30 days and then delete it. We never publish photos of your home without your written permission.
• You do not have to be present. Leave the key with security or concierge; the protocol records the condition of the home before and after.

4. The report and the guarantee

• After the visit you receive a short report with photos of the work done.
• If something is not right, send us photos on WhatsApp within 24 hours. We re-clean the affected areas free of charge or, if that is not possible, give a partial refund.
• If you believe something was damaged, tell us within 24 hours with photos. We check the protocol and, if the damage was caused by the crew, repair it or compensate the reasonable repair or replacement cost.

5. What we do not do

So that there are no surprises on the day:

• No work at height beyond a standard step ladder, and no external facade windows
• No moving of heavy furniture or appliances
• No hazardous waste, mould remediation or pest control
• No sterilisation or operating-theatre cleaning in clinics; we clean non-clinical and clinic-adjacent areas by the clinic’s own protocol
• No night work and no Sundays. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 AM – 9 PM
